بسم الله

The Religion of Islaam is good/sincere advice as was mentioned by Tameem Ad-Daari (radhia Allahu anhu) in the authentic hadeeth collected by Saheeh Muslim where the Prophet [sallallahu alayhi wa salam] said, "ad-deenu naseehah ad-deenu naseehah ad-deenu naseehah! for who oh messenger of Allah? For Allah and for the Messenger of Allah and for the leaders of the muslims and the general people." And from amongst the greatest parts of giving naseehah is Al-Amru bil Maroof wa Nahiya Anil Munkar [enjoingng what is right and forbidding what is wrong and this is amongst the descriptions of the believers and doing opposite of it or being a hinderance to it is a sign of hypocrisy:

أيها الناس: اتقوا الله تعالى, وعلموا أن الامر بالمعروف و النهي عن المنكر من أعظم صفات المؤمنون و تركهما من أكبر صفات المنافقين: قال الله تعالى

Oh humanity! Fear Allah the Most High and know with certainty, have no doubt whatsoever that enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong is from the greatest attributes of the believers and abandoning them both [i.e.enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong] is the greatest attributes of the Munaafiqeen as Allah the Most High said:
المنافقون والمنافقت بعضهم من بعض يأمرون بالمنكر و

ينهون عن المعروف

The hypocrites, men and women, are from one another, they enjoin (on the people) Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief and polytheism of all kinds and all that Islam has forbidden), and forbid (people) from Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do), and they close their hands [from giving (spending in Allah's Cause) alms, etc.]. They have forgotten Allah, so He has forgotten them. Verily, the hypocrites are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). 9:67

So we see from this ayah how the believers manifested their Imaan by enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong and having concern for the Ummah by conveying to humanity that which is best for them in light of the Kitaab and Sunnatin Naseehah [authentic sunnah] upon the fahm of the righteous predecessors. Conveying this knowledge is a trust [an amanah] even if it opposes our Hawwaa [desires] as one of our noble shaykhs have mentioned:

" إياك أن ترد الحق وأنت تعلم أنه حق لأنه يخالف هواك و إياك أن تقبل الباطل وأنت تعلم أنه باطل "
"لانه يوافق هواك"

"Beware of refuting or opposing the truth
whilst you know it is the truth, you reject it because it opposes your hawwaa [desires] and beware of accepting the falsehood whilst you know it is falsehood, you agree with it because it is is in agreement with your desires.

Long story short fear your Lord and dont oppose the truth with your hawaa
