There are 6 partners in a business. 1 partner will take out a riba based loan which will only be 6.66% of the total investment. Are the other 5 partners also sinning for the actions of this one partner? And does this make the business haram?

it's better to ask a Mufti.

in short , Riba is haram . So , there will be a mixed income of halal and haram. So , avoid it.

I would stay out of it but have a brother in law who is going into this. He is saying that the loan is the other person's personal loan. It is not linked to the business except that he will invest some of it into this business.

Bit of a shame that the whole business would be haram because of this

it dost not matter how small percentage it is...in islaam riba is totally haram !!!
