I didn't know where to post this so I posted it here

Does anyone k ow where I could Download the android stock email.apk ?? The email app thts built in Samsung phones my file is missing n I tried restoring buh that doesn't work.
 
That's not a samsung related issue, its the OS. What version of android does your phone run? (ie: gingerbread, jellybean etc).

I found one for gingerbread :) Just lemme know what version u have on ur phone.

I've got jellybean 4.1 android

Lol n how does one install it?? :p

I've got a backup email_4.0.apk but it just doesn't install :s
 
I have 4.2.2 the latest...:p

Try airdroid. you can install the apk from that.

You have S2, right? you can install the apk from settings as well....

stop teasing nt good :p just a diff of .1 not much :p

I tried everything, had a backup file tried installing kept saying installation failed :s

its ok now I flashed my phone lol got the app.


good thing I synced everything with gmail.

buh this is unfair there should b a way to install system apps again.
 
yeah I did flashed my phone got all the apps back had to reset everything again buh alhumdulilah google had a backup so I didnt lose anything.
 
My device is rooted it still wasnt installing so I had to do that.


Umm by clicking the reset wipe factory data option n then unzipped the s3 ROM file.

yes ye I'm using the right version of ROM omega stock version for s3,s2,galaxy note.

bro in law has s3 hes using the same ROM says it the lastest it is cool I love it the ink effect in the beginning is nice
 
no I'm not using the wrong ROM the email system file got deleted n I wanted to install it again but it didnt work so I flashed the phone meaning reinstalled the ROM got all the system apps then.
 
akhi i think ur not getting it I hav all the system apps now as I reset my whole phone started it up again so I hav that email app now.

jazakAlllah khayr for ur help sorry for bugging so much.
