Its a prophecy that things like earthquakes will happen more at the end of times, so will natural disasters. But relax they're just a sign of the hour, not like some extra-ordinary thing will happen soon, and Allah knows best.

None of you seem to realize that many of the end times signs are already here, and that that is actually a bad thing. Any approach towards the Day of Judgement should be a stern warning for us to look within ourselves and see what is wrong with ourselves.
Really, not a thing to take lightly. Earthquakes are one thing. But many other signs have occurred as well such as the mountains being removed from their places as well, the earth's treasures are being spewed up. Even though on the Day of Judgement the earth will tell of what happened on it, we can see glimpses of this in our life now by archaeological digs bringing up the history of the earth and the planet telling its history in this manner. What is said about what happens in the Hereafter is shown to us in some part in this life as well. So read the last Juz' of the Qur'an and reflect on those meanings a little more carefully. A lot of things happen now which are mentioned in the Qur'an which could not have occurred in the past.
It's time to take your heads out of the sand. The Qur'an is more than a book of just mere recitation. You may not be able to do your own Tafsir, but the Qur'an tells you to reflect over it and take heed from its signs. If you try and reflect over some of its verses and want to know more about it, Allah will definitely show you the meanings in your life. You will be pleasantly surprised at just how well this works.

Personally, I feel that we don't really need all the the signs etc,. Just the fact that the prophet (s.a.w.) was the last messenger means that the end of times are already approaching. Everyday it gets closer still. The signs, if we can all agree with them, may indicate the proximity of the moment, but it will always be inaccurate as only Allah knows best.
All I know is that as it gets closer to the 'times', the muslims in the world will be 'tested' like never before.
You can say that again. It feels like it just keeps getting worse and worse for us Muslims. The 'Harj' (killing) the Holy Prophet (saw) talked about in some narrations is as clear as day right now. And the night of Fitnah keeps getting darker and darker.
