In Search of the Night of Power
LAST 1O NIGHTS OF TARAWIH (Ramadhaan 1434 / 2013)
Prayers will be led by Imams & Quraa' from Makkah, Madinah & Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) - confirmed attendance

Join us on a spiritual journey during the last ten nights of Ramadhaan as we strive to maximise the latter days of the month of taqwaa by host you, your friends and family for emaan uplifting Tarawih prayers and supplication consisting of moving Qur'an recitation led by senior Imams from Makkah, Madinah & Riyadh (KSA), including a student of Shaykh Sudais- current Imam of the Ka'bah, starting from the 28th of July (20th Ramadhaan) onwards insha'allaah.

Dates: Starting from Sunday 28th July 2013 onwards (every night of the last 10 nights of Tarawih)
20th Ramadhaan until 30th Ramadhaan

إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ
وَمَآ أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ
لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ
تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلاَئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ
سَلاَمٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ

"Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree.
And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.
The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.
Peace it is until the emergence of dawn." (al Qur'an, Surat al Qadr 97:1-5)

Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allaah (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said, “Whoever establishes prayers during the nights of Ramadhaan faithfully out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allaah’s rewards (not for showing off), all his past sins will be forgiven.” (al-Bukhaari)

Announcement

Ramadhaan Spiritual, last 10 nights of Ramadhaan Tarawih and Witr prayers will start from tonight Monday 29th July '13 (20th Ramadhaan onwards) from 10.30pm insha'allaah at the Water Lily Banqueting Suite, 68-89 Mile End Road, E1 4TT.

Imams and Quraa' from Makkah, Medinah, Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and Egypt will attend to lead prayers and supplications.
All brothers and sisters welcome, fully segregated.

`A'isha (may Allaah be pleased with her) narrated: "During the last ten nights of Ramadhaan, the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) would tighten his waist belt and spend the night in worship. He would also wake up his family." (Saheeh al-Bukhaari)

`A'isha (may Allaah be pleased with her) narrated: “I asked the Messenger of Allaah (صلى الله عليه و سلم): 'O Messenger of Allaah, if I know what night is the night of Qadr, what should I say during it?' He said: 'Say: O Allaah, You are pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me.'" (Ahmad, Ibn Majah, and at-Tirmidhi)


اللْهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Allaahumma innaka `afuwwun tuhibbul `afwa fa`fu `annee.
'O Allaah, You are the All-Forgiving and You love forgiveness, so forgive me.'

The Imams, acclaimed Qur'an reciters and respected Islamic Scholars whom are in attendance as our international guests include:

Ustaadh Ahmed al Philistini

Ustaadh Ahmed has extensive teaching experience teaching in Islamic Schools in the UK. He studied Arabic Language, Qur'an and Islamic studies in Palestine and UK under various scholars. Ustaadh Ahmed al Philistini has a B.A in Arabic Language from Westminister University and is currently a teacher at the Tayyibun Institute.

Shaykh Usamah Ateef

Shaykh al Qari Usamah Ateef is an accomplished Imam in his native Makkah (Saudi Arabia) who has moved many through his unique emotive recitation of Qur'anic verses. Shaykh Usamah is currently completing his Masters in Usool ul Fiqh in Muhammad Ibn Saud University (KSA) and is a Judge by profession in the courts of Makkah. Shaykh Usamah Ateef has studied under the Imams of the Haramain such Shaykh Sudais. He is noted for being the main Imam of Masjid al Khaif during the Hajj of 2012; Masjid al Khaif is the largest Masajid in Mina with a rich Islamic history.

Shaykh Dr. Muhammad ibn Abdul Azeez Zaid

Shaykh al Qari Dr. Muhammad ibn Abdul Azeez Zaid graduated from Muhammad Ibn Saud University in the faculty of Usool Ud Deen and obtained a Masters in Aqeedah. The Shaykh has two Ijazaat in Qur'an.
He is known for his heartfelt and emotional recitation of the Qur’an, the Shaykh is also very active in the field of Da’wah and regularly gives lectures and holds study circles in his native land while being affiliated with the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
