Salaam, We want to show the world just exactly how many muslimahs love the hijab, just as a measure to show, Muslim women are not oppressed and the hijab is a choice, and is loved! We seek to inspire millions of women around the world, showing non muslims that the hijab is beautiful, liberating and we will be inviting non muslim women from around the world to try on the hijab.

Hijab is a choice. And not allowing Muslims to wear it oppression. I've seen people oppressed by the laws of countries banning the hijab because this stops so many women from living a fulfilling life, get an education, work, etc. Keeping women from wearing hijab doesn't liberate these women. Instead it makes them live isolated lives, taking from them what they could have and such a life is unhealthy. Seriously it is the worst form of oppression.

Those who say that muslim women are forced to wear hijab by family and anti-hijab laws are enacted to stop taht practice should ask themselves whether it isn't also true that nonmuslim women are also forced to wear certain forms of dress by family / society. How many nonmuslims will accept it if their daughter/sister all of a sudden started wearing islamic dress or clothes of a different culture? May would force the woman to change back to their mode of attire. Thus every people in some way do influence the type of clothing near ones wear.

the simple fact is that two wrongs don't make a right.

Heart Hijabs - Show your love for hijab

Heart Hijabs has been set up to show the entire world that Muslim women absolutely love, adore and cherish the hijab. Choosing to wear it out of love for there religion, and not because they are forced to wear it, but simply because they love to wear the hijab. A personal freedom, choice and right, to wear what they choose to wear.

Heart Hijabs was setup August and within days reached over 1,400 muslim women, showing that they love the hijab, by liking the facebook page at facebook.com/hearthijab - the campaign is aiming to get millions of muslim women from around the world, to show that they heart hijab. Very simply, just by liking the facebook page.

We have recently seen attempts to ban the niqab in the uk and hijabs are being debated for ban in quebec canada, so now is the time to show the entire world that muslim women love to wear the hijab out of choice!
