The issue on why Muslim women shouldn't get married to non-Muslims are some of the following;-
1. God himself does not allow those who don't accept the one God, the Day of Judgement, Paradise and Hell into Paradise, the angels themselves do not support them either, so why should a Muslim women, because from a Man's perspective when a woman wishes to get married to him, it means that she accepts and likes him the way he is (when God does not). That is also why the Prophets did not go around saying that so and so is good, for them to say it meant that its also coming from God himself. If an angel came to them and supported them it would be worse, as they think they don't need to change the way they are. So just as angels don't like non-Muslims why would Muslim women be servicing them??
2. The many reasons why people don't understand is that they think that all that matters is that people love one another and that is enough, but clearly in religion we love those who accept the one God, the Day of Judgement, Paradise and Hell, not those who lead people to the fire. So by accepting God would mean that we accept you personally, just as the angels do, however looks towards the one God, remember the Day of Judgement, Paradise and Hell, the angels support.
3. Regardless of changes in society, on matters of gender rights, a wife would support what her husband would do, and again its rather like showing approval that you love that person when not even an angel would. Yes there are those who grieve as they don't want that person to go to Hell, but that does not change the fact that they are not cared about by angels. Not even Satan himself is.
4. Saying that I know so and so who has got married, or I am one of them who has married to a non-Muslim does not change the fact that Islam is not run on your desires. No one can stop you getting married to someone, (it would not be Islamic to do so). Even the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him as per the Quran was told that he was to convey the message. People should not be upset if so and so chooses what to do-as how can you cry and be upset about what God himself has already provided in this world-their test for them to choose what path they wish to take. Marrying a non-Muslim of course does not stop you from being a Muslim, but your only making life harder for you, ie pleasing your husband for matters of the life of this world, as why would he be interested in living and hearing about a Islamic lifestyle praying in the morning etc.
5. I understand that many are just fed up about Males being irresponsible, but you can say that it is a world wide problem and not just in the Muslim world, were young males think that they can just have and be everything that a "Man" can have ie. in a Muslim society there is respect for your elders, people can go up to their leaders to even arbitrate in marital problems, but would anyone go up to a 20 year old for advice on the marriage problems??? No. The males seem to miss the point, that being a adult is about taking responsibility for yourself, being older does not mean that you are above other people (neither is that the goal in life).
Many parts of the world have suffered, ie were Men helped together to build homes, and help one another, now they just think about inheriting from their parents. People should be patient, and Allah may help those find responsible partners.
6. A Muslim Man can get married to only those who believe in God, the Day of Judgement, Paradise and Hell (who were the people of the book, the Christians and the Jews used to accept this), but largely do not (which is why they are not allowed to get married to Hindus etc. As per the Quran it states that this Quran is for "believing Men and believing women" not for those who call themselves Muslims by name only and don't do as Muslims do, go to nightclubs, get into trouble and run to use Islamic law at their convenience. If you cared about Allah, then you should be getting married to righteous women, who care about Allah too.
7. We incorporate the rememberance of the Day of Judgement in our decision making, as this is an important Day, that effects how we live forever in the next world, and each day we live to be judged on that one Day. So if you cannot repeat what you say and do in this world on the Day of Judgement, then you know that it is not a good decision, as you will not be standing by non-Muslims on that Day, neither would your non-Muslim husband have the angels support if he did not repent.
