My question is the idea of Reforming Islam in itself Anti Islam and or Islamophobic/I

As Salaam Alaikum my question when certain Non Muslims speak of Reforming Islam or making Muslims and Islam Secular the issue of Moderate Muslim vs Radical Muslim my question is the idea of Reforming Islam in itself Anti Islam and or Islamophobic/Islamophobia because Non Muslims that talk about Reforming Islam are really saying there is something wrong with Islam something wrong the Teachings of the Prophet Muhammad something wrong with Islamic Texts and that Traditional Islam needs to Reform/Change this is really what they are saying even if they don't come out and say it anyone agree they want to lie to Muslims saying we respect Islam we just don't like the Radical Muslims or Muslim Terrorists The Edl also at first only attacked Radical Islam in their own words now they attack Islam as a Religion/Way of Life and claim Islam needs to be Reformed same with the BNP ? Anyway Persons such as Daniel Pipes Sean Hannity and Steven Emerson may claim that they only against Radical Islam not Islam but they want to Reform Islam Change Islam make Islam Moderate in other words they want to get rid of Islam one step at a time we can see past their lies correct ? My last question is Western Politicans such as Tony Blair George Bush and Bill Clinton among others may claim that they are only against Radical Islam not Islam but why do people only put the words Radical and Moderate with Islam/Muslims anyone ever use the words Radical Judaism Moderate Judaism or Radical Christianity or Moderate Christianity or Radical Communism or Moderate Communism there is no such thing these are one anyone agree that we should at least respect people who admit they hate Islam and or Muslims and won't divide Moderate vs Radical at least they are honest about Islamophobia they may even have a few so called Muslims claiming to be Reformists but those are Tokens thank you ?

You wish to ask the Muslims if the wrongdoers who wish to talk about Islam being reformed are being anti-Islam or Islamaphobia???????????????

There is no such thing as Islamaphobia, they can make excuses about terrorist attacks, when we can remember the Oklahoma bombings when they blamed it on Muslims too. They are acting no differently to those who rejected the Prophets in the past. Making excuses why they don't accept Islam, when they don't even wish to listen to Prophet Ibrahim, Moses, David and Solomon peace be upon them either.

Also if you wish to talk to Muslims, there is no such thing as Moderate Muslims, or extreme Muslims, or radical Muslims. When the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him spoke about moderation it is rather our way of life, never has it been about what we believe in.

To me, there is no such thing as reforming Islam, as its a religion perfected, so we don't change what we do according to what the evil-doers want, that is in itself is no different to accepting Satan.

Please also as the other thread on Israel state your intentions, or are you here to get Muslims' response on issues??? Can never know who people are, on the internet.

I see your point Truthseeker. This rhetoric by the non-Muslims does hide some of their real intentions. The fact is, even when there are extreme Muslims (and there certainly are, because Islam is about moderation, while some Muslims take things to extremes which are clearly against Shari'a), only a Muslim who is familiar with what Islam says regarding the issues which are taken to extreme can state that.

As Muslims, we know what the rules are, and we are able to implement them. For those who do not adhere to our Deen, and who claim to know it, they cannot because they do not practice it. Islam is about both knowledge and action combined together. You cannot have one without the other. We Muslims are supposed to have the correct knowledge in order to implement the correct actions. The non-Muslims do not understand this, and thus they cannot differentiate what is extreme or not.

Now, when they say Radical Islam, it is definitely a lie, and h-n pointed that out above as well - as you did yourself too. There is no Radical Islam, there are only radical Muslims and their false interpretation of Islam. Radical Muslims, or extreme Muslims, take things to extremes, such as killing innocent Muslims (like Taliban in Pakistan do), and taking away women's rights (which Islam has given the perfect rights for both men and women, as was absolutely necessary).

Thus, this rhetoric is there to attach "Radical Islam", so people fear it. It is a political agenda, and it's funny that even someone like Richard Dawkins, an Atheist who is very much bent on eradicating Islam as well as all other religions, accepts that this is the case too. So it isn't that no one knows about this, even these Atheists who are staunch against Islam see this problem as well and they don't agree with it either. And here I thought no non-Muslims would see this and just turn a blind eye to it.

Anyways, this rhetoric has been around since 9/11. We can't do anything except argue back and show the true light of Islam to the non-Muslim peoples and show them the way to the true path. These are golden opportunities to discuss Islam with these people and get them to convert. If we bring them to this righteous path, then the reward is immense, and those who we convert become our closest brothers and sisters.

At the same time, even without doing anything, non-Muslims hear about Islam study it, find it fascinating, and end up converting to Islam embracing it as a long lost treasure they recently found. This is the irony behind this anti-Islamic rhetoric.

In this age, following Islam as it should be followed is like holding onto a live hot coal. It is difficult, yet to do so is a great honor in the sight of Allah and He will be pleased with those who follow His path despite the nonsense which others spout at them. This is a time in which we Muslims can attain great blessings from Allah, when the world is going off the wrong path for the most part. In sha 'Allah, the time for the dominance of Islam will come. But in the meantime, while the going is tough, our reward will be greater than when things become easy. Trials and tribulations are a blessing for us, and we Muslims do not suffer from anything, even the prick of a thorn, except Allah will reward us for all suffering in His way.
