Asalamu Alaykum

What i dont understand is, why when issues are brought to a sheikh, or advice site. Women rights are somewhat brushed aside
And if the rights of the men are breached they are prepared to go on a long rant about the consequence.
Are men and women truly equal in islam?
Im not doubting the religion of Allah. Im just confused on this subject!!

What you are talking about is a problem with the culture and customs, not a problem with Islam.
