Gold Bookmarks (24 Karrot). Can I use them as bookmarks for my quran? Or other book?

I purchased a gift from a travel that I made. They are Gold Plate Bookmarks. They are 24kt Gold. They have a picture of the Ocean and buildings (but no people on them).

can I use them for my quran? Or any other book? Or is it haram to use a gold 24 karrot bookmark?
