This thread is for the people who don't know Arabic but would like to start from somewhere. So the easiest way to start learning 'takallum' could be to simply memorise a few phrases. Lets share a few phrases that could be used in everyday life or that could be said to our children which helps them grasp a few words of Arabic and helps us become more accustomed to this language. My idea is to post max 5 phrases per post. So that this thread remains searchable inshaAllah..
What do you think?
P.S: You can also request a phrase.. Like "how can I say that in arabic?"

I should start with a few that I know:
امي! لقد رجعت!
Ummi.. Laqad Raj3at
Ammi, I've returned! (like I'm home)
اشبعت
ashba3tu
i'm full. (like my tummy is full -- cannot eat any more).
أنا جائع.
Anaa jaa3a
I'm hungry.

If they are short phrases, you could type them out using this keyboard, and after typing each letter, put the respective fat'ha, damma, kasra etc on it.
