I've always said even through my bad choices that Islam is in my heart an I believed I would return to Islam.
For the last maybe 5_6months I have started to 're educate myself in Islam am trying to teach my daughter the little bits I remember, I'm asking for help with first....teaching and how do I get into a Muslim community, I dont have my family around an I have no Muslim friends so I'm doin this all alone with my child, I don't have. Hijab, of prayer Matt an I'm asking is there anyway I could be donated what I need I have a Quran but I would like an audible one of possible, i am a single mother with not much money so I need help with donations on anything Islamic an anything that can teach me as I feel all alone in this, I have joined several websites an I have 5books free off one off these websites being sent to me hamadelallah.....but I believe I'm ready to start trying to pray at home but I don't known the direction off Mecca I have no hijabs an no prayer Matt.

:salam:

Welcome to IslamicBoard. You will find many helpful members here :ia:

If you have an internet connection, you probably wouldn't need to buy an audio Qur'an. There are several websites on which you can read and listen the recitation of Qur'an online. We also have a Qur'an link at top which you might find useful :ia:. http://www.islamicboard.com/Quran.html

For finding the Qibla, you can go to http://www.qiblalocator.com/ and zoom in at your location to find the exact direction. You don't need a special prayer mat either, you can simply pray on any clean surface. You can keep a clean piece of cloth aside for praying purpose.

Salaams to you.

Welcome to the forum.

Very concise intro. Masha Allah. Don't rush, would be my first advice. You have a lot of ground to cover and it would be a challenging one. It seems that your heart is set in the right direction and that is important.

May Allah bless your journey

Peace :peace:

Alhamdulillah! Allah, in the Most Merciful, has put it in your heart to return to Islam. May He make it easy on you, and may He guide both you and us upon the straight way.

there is a wealth of information available to you, and us. As you have a small child, i would urge you to seek things that show the beauty of Islam. i would also urge you to refresh yourself in the Arabic language. try to remember that you are not Alone. Allah's knowledge of everything that happens is complete. Allah is with those that are patient, so be patient and call upon Allah, in prayer and du'a to assist you.

the beauty of Islam always strikes my heart the most. We have the Qur'an and the story of Rasulullah to help us. here are a couple links to the Prophet's story:

i really enjoy listening to Mufti Ismail Menk, of Zimbabwe. his speaking style is very uplifting.

Mufti Menk Al Fatihah:

a lecture on Sabr:

his youtube page has many quality lectures:

Dr Bilal Philips, has a 21 part series on Islam. i find it particularly useful:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7DXQJQXR0o

Jamal Zarabozo has this fascinating 28 part series on Al Fatihah. it is extraordinary:

http://www.kalamullah.com/al-fatihah.html

that is a lot of information, but it is very useful.

if you'd like more, just ask.
