'Jinn' raids school in Jordan
Four students rushed to hospital
Four school girls in Jordan were rushed to hospital after a sudden hysterical fit and newspapers reported residents as saying it was caused by Jinn (spirits).
It was the second bizarre case to take place at the secondary girls school in western Jordan after a teacher and 17 school girls ran amok a few months ago, they said.
“Residents said such cases have been caused by jinn….they believe that the school is gripped by evil spirits because it is surrounded by a type of trees that are known to be haunted,” the Arab Alyoum daily said.
