Lol i remember grinning at that one for a long time, though God knows those guys were being sloppy. it wouldn't have taken the sniper long to call backup air support if it was available.
The actual aim of the tactic is not just having fun but locating enemy assets via triangulation, the trajectory of the snipe is observed to pinpoint the location of the sniper.
A bit like how the NSA is logging electronic traffic and flagging people, building and analyzing profiles, estimating, manipulating or even engineering possible future events.
But that's part of the trial of dajjal for Allah to see who ur with - He has a bigger database and endless storage space and inexhaustible resources and forces.
