Assalam Alaikum Brothers and Sisters!

In shaa Allah I am planning to get married. I have found the right future spouse for myself Alhamdulillah. Soon we will be engaged as her parents and mine are agreed, and next year, after our graduation we will be married in shaa Allah. So I wanted ask for good Islamic books relating to marital and family issues. I found a good book named: Blissful Marriage : A Practical Islamic Guide (Dr. Ekram and M. Rida Beshir). But it's not available in softcopy. I wanted something available in PDF as we both like to read books in PDF formats. Any other suggestion for some online course in this regard or anything will be much appreciated.

Assalaamu alaikum sarslanali,

Curiously enough, a local Imam showed me this book just a few days ago. (smile) The authors are part of his community. They are, he said, very decent and learned people. (smile) And I trust his word.

I found Blissful Marriage as an ebook; I don't know if this helps you. http://www.amazon.ca/Blissful-Marria.../dp/B004KKXT5Y

However, if you want to get the book in paperback form (I'd recommend it; after all, you are, inshAllah, going to be married for many years, and may have to consult this book repeatedly), I found two copies here: http://www.amazon.ca/Blissful-Marria.../dp/1590080394 The prices are in Canadian dollars. (twinkle) The same authors have books on parenting, too…

Anyway, I'm glad to hear things are going well for you!

May Allah, the Generous, Bless you and your future wife with a harmonious and beneficial marriage. (twinkle) And wonderful children!

Assalaamu alaikum,

I haven't read this book, but it looks like it might be interesting. On amazon, you can "look inside" the book and read some pages to get a feel of it.
