Appreciate your mother

Having a tough relationship with your mother? Wish things were different? Said the wrong words? Trust me appreciate and love your mother before it’s too late. We all get reminders but for me it was my mother’s cancer. Unfortunately this is a true story, but I’m so blessed she is still with me. We seek to fill our emptiness with the world around us, but we forget the one who was there during your first breath.

So I cried

I never was the bravest or the toughest guy
she hurt my feelings but I never understood why
I knew from an early age I wasn't going to love her even when I die

So I cried

So I cried, "Oh Allah Oh Allah please help me””
And I cried even when I sleeped
'Til I made my heart bleed
I tried to stand out from the crowd
But I knew something was missing inside…

So I cried
I wasn't cool enough to be a ladies man
Heck I don’t even have many friends man
It took me forever just to hold her hand
First time I heard it, I thought it can’t be that bad
But I wasn't brave enough to say, I loved her too

So I cried, "You Are So Beautiful To Me"

And I cried
Every tear ever so "Faithfully"
I loved her with everything
But I couldn't think of anything to say

So I cried

No one believed in me as much as Mom
Little did I know…
See, she worked every day just to see me smile
I was afraid the angels would take her home
Allah asked if I would speak
But there were no words to say how much she meant to me

So I cried, "Allah please, oh please accept my dearest thank you”
And my heart said, "I’m tired of being alone, go, go now she’s alone"
'Then there she was hiding her tears away from me
And what I felt would take too long to say

So I cried
Yes, I cried
So I cried

There used to be a time when I would mistreat my mother, but I made my promise to Allah to treat her well, and I've done a good job at it :)
Appreciate your parents for what they have done to you: raising up, informing you about Islam, advising you.

wow thats really sad and beautiful at the same time, we dont realise that in this day and age we tale advantage of our parents without realising and it really is a sad reality imsad

we should love and respect our parents and be patient with them inshaa'Allah
