We're all sad by the global situation of the Muslims and have long debates and discussions for hours on end.
Problem is most of us are blind folded by our own desires believe it or not. YOU NEED TO BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE.
Most of us recite the Qur'an with the most melodious of voices yet don't understand a word so if we don't understand what we're reading how are we supposed to implement it into our lives? From what I know about Islam the Qur'an is a guide book, instruction manual for Muslims alongside narrations of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) if I'm correct? Yes that's correct and most of us have basic knowledge about the deen. We send our children to masaajid to learn how to recite the Qur'an but how many of us follow up what they've learnt or shown an interest in anything apart from working hard for them to get a "degree", "nice car", "big house", etc and loads more materialistic things.
Brothers and sisters who do not have children yet or are not married yet I urge you to equip yourselves with at least the basic understanding of Islam via authentic sources and not what people from your local area or families have told you. We have to be the role models for our future generations otherwise they will take others as role models which may not always be positive people. When you're at uni you make sure your lectures are from the best of the best with the best qualifications etc in the same way you should make sure you're learning Islam from the best of the best and not from some self taught wannabe Shaykh Google copy and paste freak.
Husbands need to prioritise their workloads and give the wife time, kids time, parents time, siblings time, in laws time, etc and that's what makes a real man, not the man that works greedily to bring in money all the time but his family ties are lacking. Your wife doesn't want loads and loads of your money she just wants your time (that's if she's a Muslimah). Wife's need to realise that husbands need time also and respect and appreciation. Through this the family will live in harmony and the kids grow up in a healthy environment. Once the family unit is stable you'll be able to focus on the deen even more plus you'll experience the barakah Insha'Allah.
Salah is a major pillar of Islam and if you abandon this you'll never experience blessings in your life for long, you'll always feel a heavy burden in your heart.
