Greetings,

Have you already made up your mind that the theory of evolution is definitely wrong? If so, then you must have some good reasons for believing this, so maybe you could use those reasons in order to argue your case.

Many Muslims believe that there is no conflict between the Qur'an and evolution. For example, read this.

The idea that human beings come from primates (basically monkies) that come from rodents (basically rats) that come from 'sea creatures' that came from a 'single cell' is make belief of atheists. While atheists ridicule theists, the reality is, they have their own make belief.

I was raised a non-muslim, a christian but was not raised against evolution or darwinism. I was regularly bought books that encouraged belief in darwinism and evolution. I still remember my first encyclopedia which illustrated evolution and talked about Lucy one of the 'oldest' skeletons.

The reality is it's all make belief. Connect the dots where there are no dots.

The fossil record shows only species suddenly appearing and dying out.

As far as adaptation on a microscopic level it's very real, and is real science, that's as far as the truth in evolution goes, but it only happens within the scope of each creature. In other words the lies that it takes millions or hundreds of millions of years to 'evolve' for species to happen is rubbish make belief. The argument is flawed and it is only reinforced by implausible numbers that are not provable. Every time you make a claim that it took millions or hundreds of millions of years you have no way of proving it.

As far as the Qur'an is concerned, Allah subhanawatala says he CREATED adam alaiyhi salam Allah subhanwawatala didn't say Adam happened through evolution theory.

Darwin was a failed medical doctor and didn't even have a microscopic and in his own writings he said if we found complex organisms his theory would fall apart. He doubted his own conjectures. However atheists reshuffled darwinism into modern evolution theory and try to prove it via genetics.

In other words instead of 'visual' similarities like Darwin observed. Now atheists are arguing via genetics. Well if one species has so much similar genes then it must be because they have a common origin.

Yet the DNA is merely source code. So we can understand in and out genetics, but it doesn't change the fact that creatures didn't 'evolve' from one another over hundreds of millions of years.

The minute adaptive changes that happen over time are WITHIN the scope of the design of each creature. For example our skin colors, eyes, hair color, etc... but we will never grow extra eyes, wings, legs, arms, we will always remain the way we are as human creatures.

The argument of the chicken and the egg is not a problem for us Muslims. Because Allah subhanawatala designed the process of procreation and designed us. Both are necessary one doesnt' come before the other. You can't have one without the other. It's human stupidity. When you take out an engineer/creator out of the picture THEN it's a problem.

When it comes to our reproductive systems, we have two unique distinct genders, male and female. If one is malfunctioning we cannot reproduce. Both male and female sexual organs must be fully functional for us to have offsprings. We're not asexual creatures. Therefore we are designed with purpose and function.

Otherwise we wouldn't need scientists to UNDERSTAND how our biology works nor would we need doctors who run fertility clinics. So both the male and female human were created by Allah subhanawatala and with a design and purpose, function. Not semi functional or semi built.

Greetings and peace be with you czgibson;

Taken from your link

We also see that Allah created Adam directly without the agency of parents.
The theory of evolution is not a big deal to me, whether it happened or not. The question is, how could evolution happen without God?

What natural laws of nature, have the power to evolve complexity?

In the spirit of searching for God
