What do Muslims believe about the Mahdi and the End Times? OMG!

What does the Qur'an teach about the Mahdi and the End Times?

How will you know who the Mahdi is when He comes? In other words, how will you know the REAL Mahdi from the false prophet wannabes?

How should Muslims know that we are living in the End Times and the coming of the Mahdi and/or Christ?

What are the Signs of the Mahdi AND Christ?- because I believe that Islam teaches that the Mahdi is going to return with Christ, correct?

I am interested in learning more about what the Qur'an teaches and what you guys personally believe!

The Prophet :saws: said: The Last Hour will not come before there come forth thirty Dajjals (fraudulents), everyone presuming himself that he is an apostle of Allah. [Abu Dawud]

And you are one of those fraudulent Dajjals.

To Summarize it heavily:

The Mahdi will be an Arab man from Mohammad (pbuh)'s lineage with a name similar to him and a similar surname as his, who will be living in Arabia. He will deny leadership at first and then be given allegiance by 313 people in a specific place in Makkah. He will also be chased by a major millitant's army. He will have a shiny forehead and a high-bridged nose. Some other sources attribute him having a stutter. Then there is some specific stuff about the wars he will take part in.

This isn't some "salt and smoke" kind of prophecy.

Signs of the coming of the Mahdi: High-rise building, the downfall of regions like Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and Egypt (Only Egypt remains). Corruption in Syria. Want of death over living. Rise of the Emirate of Nejd (Saudi Arabia). The Wars between the Turks and Arabs. The Mongols. General calamity, and bloodshed alongside increase in the passing of time. We have the stuff about the rise of different groups in the Middle east each claiming supreme Islamic control and the division of Iraq into three pieces.

Christ will come down into Damascus early in the morning after the Mahdi has risen, on the wings of Angels, and will be recognized by those present.

You can't be a Prophet, no more Prophets. Sorry, but your over a thousand years late. Get a time machine and try somewhen else.

It is reported from Abu Saeed Khudri (radhiyallahu anhu), who says that Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said, ‘I give you the glad tidings of Mahdi, who will be sent at the time when there will be great differences amongst the people, and earthquakes. The earth will then be filled with justice just as it was filled with oppression and rebellion. The inhabitants of the heavens and earth will be pleased with him. He will distribute wealth with ‘Sihaah’. A Sahaabi asked, ‘What is meant by ‘Sihaah’? Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) replied, ‘With Equality and justice. Allah Ta’ala will fill the hearts of the Ummat of Muhammad with peace and contentment, and their justice will permeate and become widespread….’” [Narrated by Ahmad]


Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud :ra::
The Prophet :saws: said: If only one day of this world remained. Allah would lengthen that day (according to the version of Za'idah), till He raised up in it a man who belongs to me or to my family whose father's name is the same as my father's, who will fill the earth with equity and justice as it has been filled with oppression and tyranny (according to the version of Fitr). Sufyan's version says: The world will not pass away before the Arabs are ruled by a man of my family whose name will be the same as mine.
Abu Dawud said: The version of 'Umar and Abu Bakr is the same as that of Sufyan. [Abu Dawud]


It was narrated that Sa'eed bin Musayyab :rh: said:
"We were with Umm Salamah :raha: and we were discussing Mahdi. She said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah :saws: say: "Mahdi will be one of the descendents of Fatimah." [Ibn Majah]

The Prophet :saws: said: The Mahdi will be of my stock, and will have a broad forehead a prominent nose. He will fill the earth will equity and justice as it was filled with oppression and tyranny, and he will rule for seven years. [Abu Dawud]


Abu Nadhra :rh: reported:
"We were in the company of Jabir b. 'Abdullah :ra: that he said it may happen that the people of Iraq may not send their qafiz and dirhams (their measures of food stuff and their money). We said: Who would be responsible for it? He said: The non-Arabs would prevent them. He again said: There is the possibility that the people of Syria may not send their dinars and mudds. We said: Who would be responsible for it? He said this prevention would be made by the Romans. He (Jabir b. Abdullah) kept quiet for a while and then reported Allah's Messenger :saws: having said there would be a caliph in the last (period) of my Ummah who would freely give handfuls of wealth to the people without counting it. I said to Abu Nadra and Abu al-'Ala: Do you mean 'Umar b. 'Abd al-Aziz? They said: No (he would be Imam Mahdi). [Muslim]


Please note, the references to Imam Mahdi are all from Hadith, not the Qur'an. There are several Ahadeeth that mention him but I have only listed the most authentic ones of those all.

These kind of questions make me think hard. Because two things are put together and both are different things just happening around the same time.

First I must say that I believe in the 'end times' and the 'end' it self. The obvious questions would be about the occurrence itself like when or the 'signs' etc. Imam Mahdi would be one of the sure signs for me.

I'm not looking out for him, I just ask Allah to open my heart to hear the 'call' when he arrives. Just as I pray to Allah to let me recognised Dajjal if I see him and not let me be misguided by him.

The signs show that we are in the 'end times' already.

That's what I heard too!

But I still worry, if our holy prophet could say that even he is not guaranteed of heaven save by Allah’s Mercy, what makes me assume that I will the believer that sees the letters written?

For protection from Dajjal's fitnah, you must read surah Al-Kahf on every Friday. This is the way of protection from that fitnah and the Prophet salla Allaho alaihi wa sallam has told us this way. Trust Allah and read surah Al-kahf every Friday. Allah will protect you.

So; times will actually get better in terms of justice, morality,people understanding Islam...etc THEN over time things will get bad again till the worst of people are left...which could take a few more thousand years. Right?

My plans and will are to enable and induce and help (most of) the people of the whole world to become much more fruitful and to multiply their wealth, so that they can live and enjoy their life to an unprecedented potential!

I believe in a type of capitalism and a type of socialism. I believe that the people that are able to work can and should make their own money and reap the rewards of their labor! But the people that can not work, for whatever reasons, should be able to live a decent life- not rich but not poor.

I believe that there should be a cap on wealth, so no single person should own more than a billion dollars in capital and/or assets combined: and that would help spread the wealth around to the poorer class and the middle class!

I also believe that there should be a sliding scale tax, so that the poorer class pay NO TAXES, and the more profits someone earns the more they will pay in taxes. For example, if someone is making $200k in profits- they might have to pay 20% in taxes. But if someone is making millions of dollars in profits- they might have to pay 50% in taxes. And if someone is making less than $50k per year, than they should NOT have to pay any taxes, because they need that money to pay bills and eat, etc..

And I also believe that there should be a GLOBAL MINIMUM WAGE, because that would protect most jobs from being outsourced to a different country! And the minimum wage should be a living wage, so I believe that the global minimum wage should be maybe $15 per hour. But, for the record, all of these numbers are arbitrary and are just to give examples, because My global online government would dictate the actual numbers and percentages, etc..

I also believe that people have a "God-given right" to free food, free education- including daycare for little children AND free college for adults, free health care, and many other things will become free rights as dictated by My global online government like free internet and free satellite cellphone service, etc..

Moreover, I believe that PEOPLE should be the "gold standard," because that would protect the currency from inflation or deflation! For example, maybe there could be a million dollars per person who is alive, in circulation. And this money could get into circulation via public workers and social services and the military and whatever else that we need to pay for that will benefit the people.

But because I am not a despotic tyrannical dictator, I can only give My suggestions as I see righteous fairness and justice, but it is not in My jurisdiction to subjugate and manipulate and impose all of the laws of the land! Because I want My people to decide their own destiny and fate for their own lives! And I also believe that all of the countries should be sovereign, so each country can dictate their own*laws based upon the majority rules. But every country will have to obey the simple global laws like murder, rape, stealing, etc., will always be illegal! These are the moral laws.

I want people to prosper and enjoy their life! And I don't want there to be any immoral and unjustified laws, so I trust that the majority of people will choose what is the best for their own state and their own country.

I want everyone to be able to have a good quality of life! And I want My Garden Paradise Kingdom to be able to evolve with the contemporary times that they live in!

I don't want to hurt any people, because I want to be a blessing to the world and then the world's to come!

War will become obsolete in My Kingdom!

I have not made a YouTube video since about January of the year 2013, so it's been about 3 years ago.

I made those YouTube videos because I wanted put some of the things that I believe in on the internet, in video form, so I don't have to explain what I believe all of the time, and so people can see and hear what I believed at the time.

I believe that I have some important things to share with the open-minded people in the world!

Because I believe that the Mahdi and the Christ will help usher in a Kingdom that is fair for all people! I believe that we all should be advocating for whatever is the best for all of us! Because I believe that the Creator loves us all very much, and it's the job of His people to teach the world about what is the very best!

I believe that everyone can and should learn the ways of peace from the peacemakers, and even the Mahdi and Christ can learn new things too! I don't believe that the Mahdi and Christ will know EVERYTHING about everything, because we all can learn new things as we develop and become more enlightened about the Creator! Or am I mistaken?

Should we not teach people the ways of peace and prosperity?

Islam encourages every able person to earn his own livelihood, and those who are not able, they are given fixed stipend under Islamic governance. Widows, orphans, elderly people, terminally sick etc are all included.

Islam does not allow hoarding of wealth and strongly encourages spending on poor and destitute.

In Islam, each Muslim who owns wealth more than the Zakat nisab is required to pay Zakat annually, assuring complete eradication of poverty.

Health care professionals and educators are paid by the government under Islamic rule. They won't have to charge their patients and students.
