Should pets eat halal food? They aren´t Muslims but animals.

Thanks for inquiring, sister herb. It completely depends on the owner of the pet. However, if touching pork is an issue for the owner themselves, then you might be surprised to know that the proteins the animal eats comes off as oils on the animal's skin and hair. A friend of mine fed her cat Halal because she herself did not want to touch anything tainted from pork, including her cat.

Indeed, there are cat foods that get halal certificate although not all Muslims think they need to feed their cats with halal food like this.
