Hazrat Abu Bakr (R.A)

Hazrat Abu Bakr (R.A) is the only Sahabi who;

1 - He Himself was a Sahabi.

2 - Both parents were Sahabis. His Mother accepted Islam before Hijrah and his father Hazrat Abu Quhaafah (R.A) at the time of the conquest of Makkah Mukarramah.

3 - Four of his children were Sahaabah,

***- Hazrat Abdul Rahman bin Abi Bakr (R.A),

***- Hazrat Abdullah bin Abi Bakr (R.A),

***- Hazrat Aaishah bint Abi Bakr (R.A),

***- Hazrat Asmaa bint Abi Bakr (R.A) (married to Hazrat Zubair (R.A)).

4 - His grandson, Abu Ateeq bin Abdul Rahman bin Abi Bakr (R.A) was also a Sahabi (Tareekhul-Khulafa of Imam Suyuti (r.a)).

His other more famous grandson was Hazrat Abdullah ibn Zubair (R.A), (the son of Hazrat Asmaa bint Abi Bakr (R.A)). Hazrat Abdullah ibn Zubair (R.A) did not accept Hazrat Yazeed (r.a) as the ruler and established Khilaafah with the capital in Makkah Mukarramah. He was the only ruler to rule from Makkah Mukarramah.
