Four useless good deeds

Said the great third Caliph of Islam, words pregnant with wisdom and overflowing with wisdom, Sayyadina Uthman ibn Affan radiyallahu anhu:

" Four things are useless:

1) Knowledge without practice;

2) Wealth without expenditure in the way of Allah;

3) Piety for the sake of show prompted by worldliness;

4) A long life with no stock of good deeds."
