Every Muslim knows that our Islam is a very beautiful religion but still we are unable to attract our friends and colleagues towards it. Well if you follow the below suggestions, then i think it would be easy for you to invite them towards Islam.

1) First we need to become a Perfect Muslim. In Muwatta of Imam Malik RadiALLAHuanhu, we will come to know that we should become an example (of good Muslim). and this is of utmost importance because, most of the people come towards a religion by looking at the followers. So, being Pious and becoming a right example is crucial.

2) Once you have become a good Muslim, what you need to do is behave and interact properly with you friends and Colleagues. Because hearts get attracted by looking at the beauty of our manners. The best way to correct our character/manners is by following the Sunnah of Prophet MUHAMMAD Peace be upon HIM.

3) Once you start behaving properly, then try to help them as much as you can. This shows your humble and kind nature to them which in turn will lit a fire of curiosity in their minds to know the reason behind your helpful nature.

4) All the 3 suggestions mentioned above should be followed by clean intentions. We should be true with our character. We should never cheat others by showing our wrong identity. Because truth got power.

5) If they still don't turn towards Islam. Then we should Pray to ALLAH The Almighty for their Hidayah.

6) The least we can get from the above process is that, we will end up becoming a True Muslim.

You cannot ever be a perfect Muslim, it should be our goal but we will always fall short and if we did not sin Allaah would remove us and put in our place a people who did sin, so placing a requirement on people being a perfect Muslim before we give Dawah is not correct.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “I swear by Him in whose hand is my soul, if you were a people who did not commit sin, Allah would take you away and replace you with a people who would sin and then seek Allah’s forgiveness so He could forgive them.”
Sahīh Muslim (2687)

We are all on a journey, trying to correct ourselves, but we should never let shaitan fool us into thinking only once we've reached the end of that journey can we start to correct others and in giving Dawah actively, by our speech not just good deeds we help to correct ourselves as well and increase our emaan.

The Messenger (sallallahu alihi wasallam) informed Mu'adh bin Jabal, when he was going to the land of Yemen, "You are going to a people from the People of the Book. Let the first thing that you call them to be the worship of Allah. If they acknowledge Allah, then inform them that Allah has obligated upon them five prayers during their days and nights." [Al-Bukhari, Muslim]

This hadith is clear. It does not require much of an explanation. The Prophet applied this principle in his practical calling to Islam. He stayed in Makkah for thirteen years to each the people iman and to educate his Companions on this point and to correct the beliefs of the people. That is the pattern upon which the Companions were brought up.
