Daniel makes 8 giant cookies and 9 small cookies to sell for charity. The price of a giant cookie will be twice as much as the price of the small cookie. Daniel wants to get a total of exactly £10 when he sells all the cookies. Work out the price Daniel needs to charge for each giant cookie and for each small cookie. Thanks.

If the giant cookies were twice the size and twice the price..

Then how many small cookies could you make from the giant ones?

basically there are 9 small cookies and 16 more small cookies (dividing the giant ones into half). So that makes it 25 small cookies in total.

If 25 small cookies are to be sold for £10,
then 1 small cookie should cost £10/25, which is equal to £0.4.
And one giant cookie would cost twice of £0.4, that is £0.8.
