I am 17, and I know a 15 year old girl in my school who is my friend, and I told her that I liked her as more than a friend....but she said she only sees me as a friend....I asked her if she could pair me up with anyone, and she asked me if I liked so and so girl, and I said yes, and she said she'd ask her if she felt the same....the girl is a Christian.....I feel so guilty, and I know I shouldn't have done this but one of my biggest weaknesses has been girls astagfirullah....and my mom was okay with it and said I could date her if I choose.....why is this haram, and how can I avoid it and tell the girls to call it off?

Fear Allah and try to be a good Muslim . Insha Allah it will be easy for u to stay away from all haram relationships . Don't u want to go to paradise , my young brother in faith ?

few related info collected from net :

“And do not come close to zina. Verily, it is a great sin, and an evil way (that leads one to Hell unless Allah forgives him).” (Quran 17:32)

Scholars point out that in this verse Allah does not say, “don’t commit zina,” but “do not (even) come close to zina.”

Scholars explain: don’t do any deed that may get you close to zina or lead to it. An example would be if a person remains alone with someone from the opposite sex in uninterrupted privacy, touching, looking, going to promiscuous places such as bars and nightclubs, speaking in a seductive manner to a woman, and thinking about and planning immoral acts. This includes cyber sinning and virtual adultery. This would also indicate that one must stay away from pornography on the web, movies, magazines, and phone sex.

Allah never said that this lifetime would be easy. Allah is more beautiful than a relationship with a girl, though. Don't ever forget how precious Allah's mercy is. That's what caused Pharoah's magicians to prostrate and believe in Allah azza wa jal (you can find that in surah 7). As long as you see God as more precious than dating, you can overcome it. Get involved in dhikr and reading the Qur'an; doing that will feed your spiritual heart.

Once you develop a habit of making dhikr and such, it will become easier to resist temptation because God's greatness will constantly be on your mind (instead of thinking about girls all the time). I know that it's difficult to resist, but it can be done.

Why do you want a leeway from us to make this relationship as halal?
