So I have been looking for this poem by Imam Shafi' rahimahullah I read sometime back but can't seem to find it anywhere on the internet. I wanted to post the arabic version of it (very basic arabic used), it's going to take a while tho (typing arabic and stuff).
Here's the english translation btw :-
"We sought the abandoning of the sins,
And we found it in the duha prayer
And we sought the illuminating of our graves,
And we found it in the recitation of the Quran
And we sought the passing over the sirat,
And we found it in fasting and giving charity
And we sought the shade of the throne of Allah (subhaanahu wa ta'aala),
And we found it in loving the righteous (pious)"
