:sl: I think it would be a good idea to see how we all work together with a piece of poetry.

Try to make it rhyme if you can in this format: ABAB :) If you cant don't worry.

Maximum 4 verses in each stanza. Poem doesn't have a set number of stanzas so lets see how it goes.

PS: Please be sensible and no mentioning of monsters of anything, we have the neverending story thread for that, this is the poetry one and we are going to be prompted by feelings here.

I have started it off, you can all contribute in Sha Allah.

We will come up with a title for the poem together after its completion.

So excited to see the outcome of this poem.

She was left staring into the deep, night sky,
Witnessing the stars twinkle one by one,
Admiring the silence that slowly amplified,
Her worries became of the past, she had none.

A smile alighted her face, no longer would she cry,
Guiding her was her Lord, her faith by her side,
As she gazed upwards, starlight alit her eyes,
And it filled her soul, an ocean of hope's rising tide.

The hope that magically brought her back to life,
Her largest affliction steadily became no more,
The peace intensified, no inner battles nor strife,
Like a relieved soul left to recover at sea shore.

She tumbled down into Sujood her tears flowing steadily.
Talking to Allah... He answered her prayers so readily.

She prayed for someone to guide her to Jannah and complete half her Deen.
After many reflective nights in tahajjud, she finally became a Muslim Queen.

Then she died, the end had come. It was fate predestined, she would be in heaven. And as her soul left the earth, she looked back, no she cried, I cannot leave just yet. Please ya Rabb it is not time yet. Please give me another chance, there are things that need to be done. But alas, time was up. There was no going back once the matter was decreed. So ppl take advantage of the time you got. Because once it's too late, there won't be another chance.
