Assalamualaikum brothers and sisters,
Does Islam allow to wear such dresses or shirts on which there are pictures of birds printed??What about if there are certain writings on shirt eg some positive words etc...I'm just perplexed if this is Halal?plz provide your input JazakAllah Khair

These birds on the clothes; do they have eyes? If yes, it will not be permissible, due to the general prohibition the Sharee`ah gives with regards to pictures of animate beings. However, if there are no eyes, it will be permissible.
Similarly, clothing containing writing is permissible, provided the words used are not evil, shameless, vulgar, etc.
