Basic Rules of Sharia Question

In my religious studies specification, it says I need to study the '8 basic rules of sharia from surah 6'. The problem is, I have been searching the net for ages and I can't find anything at all.

Would someone be able to provide some insights on the 8 rules of sharia found in surat al An'am?
