وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته

You'll get everything you want in Jannah, sister. You don't need to worry about that. Women are most definitely not slaves and they do not get less than men.

Allaah Ta`aalaa tells us in the Qur'aan that in Jannah, people will have whatever they desire.

Wa alaikum salam

Both men and women will have the best in Jannah, women are not slaves; but if Allah swt wants us to be slaves then we should be more than happy with it; subhanallah wal hamdulillah wallahu Akbar!!

Wa alaykum assalam,

By extension to what Umm Abed wrote, we are all, men and women, slaves of Allah swt....we are not slaves of any of His creations, our whole purpose of life is to worship Him, the Lord of the Worlds, alhamdulillah. And those who worship Him, and follow his commandments, will get whatever they wish for in Jannah, inshaAllah :)

Oh come on.. You say you'd be content with a makeup box and having the same looks as you do now, yet, you're concerned that women get less and are like slaves to men despite everything we've been told about Jannah? Are you serious? No offense but it sounds like a classic case of feminism..

Maybe you should listen to some lectures or watch some youtube videos regarding Jannah. The description of what it will look like alone will be enough for you to forget about a simple makeup box..

Why do sisters worry about this??
1)"And your Lord is not at all unjust to his slaves"<3
2) Stop thinking..work hard to get to jannah
3) There won't be no jealousy or hatred in jannah, you won't feel what you feel now..
4)"One of the best things that people long for in the Hereafter is, for men, the women of Paradise, namely al-hoor al-‘iyn, and for women there is an "equivalent delight" By His great wisdom, Allaah has not mentioned what the women will have as the "equivalent of al-hoor al-‘iyn for men" and that is due to "modesty and shyness" How can He encourage them to seek Paradise by mentioning something that they are too shy and modest to mention or speak about themselves? So He has simply hinted at it, as in the verse (interpretation of the meaning):
“Therein you shall have (all) that your inner‑selves desire"

Very true. There is nothing to worry about. Anything a person possibly wants, he/she will have in Jannah.

People are worried about what they get in Jannah when they should be worried about getting there first.

:salam:

I am more worried about getting there. I fear ending up a hypocrite in the lowest pit of Hell for eternity. I feel I will get there if I don't die soon enough.

Are you satisified with this life? Do you feel oppressed ? Know that Allah :swt: is not an oppressor and He :swt: has forbidden oppression and injustice onto Himself.
And Allah :swt: knows best.

The most beautiful description of Jannah can be found in Soorah ar-Rahmaan. From the Aayah "Wa li-man Khaafa Maqaama Rabbihee Jannataan" onward. You have to know Arabic (not just speak it, but have studied Nahw, Sarf, Balaaghah, Fasaahah, Ma`aanee, Badee`, Ishtiqaaq, `Uroodh, Qaafiyah, etc.) to really appreciate the beauty of that Soorah. An English translation can never do that.

Imaam al-Ghazaali رحمة الله عليه mentions that a Shaheed will get 12,500 Hoor-ul-`Een in Jannah.

:wa:

Just to clarify, you will get WHATEVER your heart desires in Jannah. So don't worry about that, However what you should be worrying about is... Will we even make it?
If you were to die right now in this very second do you think you have done enough to achieve Jannah?

One of the biggest blessings one can be given is to be saved from Jahannam and subsequently be then admitted to Jannah, So even if you are given nothing (Of course you'll have what your heart desires, However I'm presenting a hypothetical scenario) then isn't that in itself something special? The fact that your Lord has admitted you into Jannah and has therefore saved you from such a painful punishment?

Don't take offence, I'm talking about some people in general, the people who are quick to jump the gun and list absolutely all the things their heart would desire in Jannah which I mean isn't necessarily a wrong thing, But come on how can you guarantee that you are even going to be there in the first place?

These are matters which we as Muslims should take more seriously rather than how many wives we'll have in Jannah lol. We need to strive to get there first, So how about for a change WE actually focus on GETTING there by doing good deeds.

Sister ... the naturaly of man and woman is different
For that Allah promise the men about "hur" because he is the creator and he knows that man need this to keep his Iman high in the time of temptations ... even you say we also have .. but I will tell you no .. because the woman is the major responsible of the sin because if he say no about something men can't do anything to her .. but if the woman decide to distroy a men just Allah and his Iman can protect because it Hard for his nature to do this so ... men need more promises to be more strangue
And if you see how men strive to get a wife since he grow up he think how can I complete my studying how I can work how I buy a house to can get married ! All that things to get a wife and this is the happiness to a men
But we as a women since you grow up you start thinking of how I get more beautiful .. which clothes is good for me .. houses decorating ... and outing on your friends houses , and of course a husband
So don't forget that in jannah a lot of things to us to be so happy
And on juannah you will be better than hur and you won't have even jalouse to them
Do for jannah as you can and we will gether there then we can take a trip on shadow of a tree on jusnnah and we can remember when Allah had frgived our sin ??
don't think of alhur think just how can we live there happy without illness without sadness without disobeying Allah we can there meet our beloved one ... we can see the prophet muhammad and the prophet
And better than all this we can see Allah
If we ask ourselves : how can love for a creation make people happy and enjoying
How about seeing them lord ? Is not the best we can ever win ???
So let's worship Allah as we can ... and do for his sake our best
And he will satesfy us for sure
May Allah make us from the people of jannah
Amen
Thank you sister for sharing this with us

Imaam al-Ghazaali writes in "Ihyaa `Uloom ad-Deen":

“According to Rasoolullaah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم the Hurs (Houris) of Paradise will be pure women—free of menstruation, urine, stool, cough and children. The Hurs will sing in Paradise on divine purity and praise—we are most beautiful Hurs and we are for the honored husbands. Rasoolullaah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم also said that an inmate of Paradise will have the sexual strength of 70 men. Rasoolullaah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said, “An inmate of Paradise will have 500 Hurs, 4,000 unmarried women and 8,000 widowed women. Each of them will keep embracing him for the duration of his whole worldly life.” [Ihyaa `Uloom ad-Deen, vol.4, p.430]

8,000 + 4,000 + 500 = 12,500 women in total.

This Hadeeth is also narrated by Imaam ibn Abi-d Dunyaa in Sifat-ul-Jannah and by Imaam al-Bayhaqi in al-Ba`th wan-Nushoor.

Idk much about Fiqh at all. I remember reading we will have the physical strength of 1000 men. I guess it is different from sexual strength. 2 women to the lowest Jannati..

Allahu alam.

A thread could be opened on the issue of Hoor-ul-`Een and their description from Qur'aan and Ahaadeeth.
