I found this interesting fatwa that may, In shaa' Allah, absolve any misconceptions lingering our minds..... For Muslims and Non muslims.

Can any scholar confirm it?

And Allah :swt: knows best.

:salam:

From what I understand is that we should not hate people personally for their beliefs. Rather we should see everyone as prisoners of their evil inclinations. Be it atheism, drugs, prostitution, etc.

The wise thing (afaik) is to try to bring them out by not aiding shaytaan in fueling their (thing). I.e. Surely it is shaytaan that has decieved mankind into kufr/disbelief.

I, myself, am by no means a good Muslim, I've had my misconceptions (and still have some).

But know this:

We do not hate you personally, we hate the fact that you do not believe in Islam, and we hate the disbelief that is preventing you from salvation.

I have a question tho. Am I right in not judging people by their religion, but by their heart.

It is our job to eradicate negativity and evil, by responding with good character and with good in general. Evil is the disease, the cure is always the good. :)

And just because a person is drowned in evil (drugs, haram relationships, disbelief) doesn't make the person himself evil. he has, rather, drowned or been "caught" by the evil.

Surely there are evil people in the world, and to that we respond with justice.

Idk, this is me brainstorming. Lol.

Any scholar can add and clarify whatever wrong I may have said.........

And Allah :swt: knows best.

You know Serinity,i've read some of your threads on IB,and tbh,i had these types of "misconceptions" but I had to do a lot of research..and believe me my pages are still open and haven't finished reading them..

Look serenity, prophet Mohammed (PBUH) never mistreated a non muslim,he welcomed christains in his own mosque,he didn't say "no don't come we'll talk outside non muslims cant enter here" he never did that once in his life...and going to your question,

Yes,we shouldn't judge one, only Allah is just and he can judge, not us,and we should treat everyone with kindness and fair, and with just too.

"I myself,am by no means a good muslim" Don't say that, you believe in Allah, and you are a Muslim..whats better than that? you're guaranteed Jannah lol....tbh we shouldn't judge people, maybe point out their mistakes, and also explain to them the message of Islam, thats it.

It is hard. I can't ever say I am guaranteed Jannah, as I don't know whether I will die a Muslim.

It is hard staying Muslim atm. Imo.

Assalamo Alikum.

Don't say that bro...just refresh your thoughts, study the misconceptions, ask people online (Islamreligion.com has a 24/7 Q&A session and you can ask them) look at the examples of the prophet and you're good to go...So you're saying you're not sure if you're a muslim anymore? why?...why don't you research and google about these misconceptions until you understand them? I didn't understand slavery, apostasy, marriage of Aisha at the age of 9 (May Allah be pleased with her) I had to study them, and it took me a while, you should clear out all types of assumptions,as it is a sin... [49:12] "O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption.Indeed, some assumptions is a sin." see? even the Quran talks about this...just make sure you're not thinking in a bias, negative, arrogant type of way, just be open minded, and you will understand it.You know Islam is like an ocean, the more you go deeper, the more you find information,is it easy to understand some of them? of course not,we have to specifically study them, from well educated and reliable sources,if you want, you may ask me questions about things you're unsure of.but brother please think in a positive way...

Indeed, we should hate sin, not the sinner.
