A Long Overdue Apology...
It's not that I am ignorant of your anguish, sorrow and pain,
Neither is it that I think your anger is baselessly placed or in vain,
I can't help myself but to watch you hurt from a distant again,
The sole truth is that I wish that in your arms I forever remain,
To be hidden in your heart till I die, I promise without a complain,
But Ah! My love I know that I am the reason behind your restlessness,
Although all I ever wanted to be was your joy and true happiness,
To be everything that you prayed for; fulfillment of every goodness,
And here I am; the reason behind your tear, agony and sadness,
Yet I hope one day we will happily live our cherished love story,
For now please find it in your heart to forgive me, I am indeed sorry...
I love you...
