Studies after the recent discovery of the endocannabonoid system god created us with suggests when boosted by consuming Cannabis we become healthier..so it has the opposite effect of a toxin...Most pharmaceutical drugs are way way more toxic and addictive , aspirin has caused more deaths than Cannabis, it can be argued Cannabis has not caused one single death in all recorded history..

I know there is an argument that it causes people to feel different, but so does Caffine though more subtle..My understanding from the Koran is if it covers the mind its warned to stay away from, but that would make most medicine haram, and Cannabis opens the mind , its pshyco active..

Not saying its good to get stoned all day every day just for fun, but its a much much safer and cheaper natural herbal remedy for many many ailments...I dont thing God made a mistake when he created this plant..If anything is a sin its denying suffering people safe effective medicine for the sake of corporate profit, imho..

Although I agree on the point of pharmaceutical companies and more orthodox companies not fancying herbal remedies much. You can't blame them, I suppose, they've been taught that complex drugs and man-made medication is superior and it would go against their belief system to recommend otherwise.

However, from personal experience natural, herbal remedies can be just as effective. As a teenager who suffered from terrible acne, no amount of doctor's tablets or creams would work. What cleared my skin amazingly in the end was turmeric, oats and milk. SubhanAllah.

All scholars agree that cannabis is haram. It is a psychoactive drug. Yes it can be wonderful for people who, for example, have severe epilepsy (and in such cases this becomes halal for them because it gives them a chance at a normal life according to SOME scholars; there is disagreement), however, you and most people do not have severe epilepsy and it remains haram. It's simply recreational. Just because Allah created this plant doesn't make it halal. Allah created male and female, which are haram for each other. He created pigs, which is haram for consumption. He allows fruit to ferment and become wine which is haram to drink. I can go on and on, but just because something merely exists and has some benefit does not mean it is halal. In the Quran in regards to wine/intoxicants allah states "...in them is great sin and [yet, some] benefit for people. But their sin is greater than their benefit."

If someone has an ailment, they should exhaust all halal forms of healing, including du'a, salaah, Quran, honey, exercise etc. before even thinking about turning towards something haram. You have to be in a state where cannabis is a necessity for you to have a normal life rather than just an "option." Most people who use cannabis are committing more than one haram. 1) They are in a state of intoxication which invalidates their salaah. So now they are committing a huge haram by not performing salaah in a state of purity. 2) They are breaking the law of the land considering it is illegal in most countries, 3) They are intoxicating themselves with which is deemed haram in the deen, and 4) They are advocating for a haram substance publicly without shame.

Allah and the prophet pbuh gave us the tools we need when we have any type of pain or sickness because the healing, while it comes from medications, is ultimately from Allah's will and mercy that allows that medication to heal us.

The pharma corporations cant make money selling Tumeric Oats and Milk..They cant corner the market for some thing that cant be patented that we can produce our selves..Corporations exist to make money for the share holders, there is more money to be made by making and keeping us sick..

While anyone can claim Allah is the Truth and people prohibit good things in his name the Cannabis debate will rage on..

That's true, but holistic medicine is within our reach.

Let me ask you this.

Does cannabis have any negative effects on the body?

Can one become dependent on it even if they don't really need it medically?

If it were a "miracle drug" don't you think that it would have been something in the sunnah already instead of other things?? Because I can't think of anyone who would deserve something so miraculous than the people whom are most beloved by Allah.

If someone reallllly wanted to use something or do something haram, wouldn't they always find a way to do it and convince themselves they are not doing anything wrong?

If the scholars who have more knowledge than you and I prohibit its use, who are you to debate them?

Okay to start off it says you belong to the religion known as Jedi so why are you even debating this and next I would like to give you a real reason or why weed must be haram I myself used to use it and the thing is I used to think it wasn't haram either because really i could still take tests on it and be fine but there's a deeper reason of why so to start off we know that no matter how much of a intoxicant you use if it can get you intoxicated at a high level then you can't even consume a little bit of it so even if I where to drink just a sip of alcohol it would still be haram now with weed you can buy oil which containes usually around 90% thc and then normal bud can contain around 20-40% thc now if you take a dab of oil that right there will obviously get you intoxicated you will literally not be able to move somtimes and feel unable to think or anything and impossible to stand up so yes you can take a small amount and feel a little high but the thing is that's only a little bit if you get really high then your denfitely intoxicated it's the same with alcohol you can take a little bit and be "buzzed" but you can feel fine and operate your body fine but then if you drink allot then you become drunk(during my time of arrogance I never drank but I saw my friends drinking) same thing with weed so yes it's definitely an intoxicant and when you talk and don't get me started about the positive effects of weed that your talking about
