Thank you for your thoughts. :)
Is it chance do you think I'm replying to you? Or do you think it is a chance that you're here having replied to me earlier? The logical mind cannot accept that we made these decisions at random because we both decided to be here in these moments sharing this space for a purpose. Can randomness then be an explanation for perfect order in the cosmos?
In your daily life, you may have need of a pen. But if that pen stops working, you throw it away. If you buy a sandwich wrapped in tin foil or other paper, you throw it away once you're done eating the sandwich. You may buy a cup in which to drink coffee, but, if it breaks, you throw it away. In each specific example, after the specific object has serves its ostensible purpose and can no longer do so, it is thrown away. So, if humankind has no purpose for which it exists on the earth, other than to die as is evident from a clear rational-based linear chronological perspective, then each life has been a waste, including your own, and everything and everyone in this world is expendable and equally deserving of being thrown away. Does your logical mind accept that your life is a waste, that you are a waste, that everything and everyone in this world is expendable and all deserving then of being thrown away? What is the purpose in existing if existence is meaningless? Why must you or I live? Indeed, why not just die right now because that is our ultimate function, dying?
Indeed, if we only live to die, then hurrying this process along is in fact the best and most charitable act we can do for both ourselves and all others ultimately because all human beings needlessly suffer and toil in life, and relieving that suffering has to be defined then as both the highest good and the highest pinnacle of logic. In fact, to kill others then is not an act of evil but an act of benevolence. Death is relief and freedom. Life is torture and prison. So, Mao, Stalin, Hitler are all figures deserving of reverence, and figures like Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela who did not kill nor desire to be killed in this life are worthy of the utmost contempt. Also, then, since you're accepting no higher power exists, then following all of this logic further, the highest good then must be in creating the stage for all humankind to be wiped out; any and all who object to this, at least from a logical perspective, must accept themselves then to be seen as the most illogical people because they're willing and desiring for human beings (including themselves) to suffer in life and that too when all humans only live to die. Does your logical mind accept this basic logic?
Or perhaps your thinking is not basic, not logical. Despite the optics of the the situation, human beings are not functionally logical creatures. You and I and other human beings are a strange maelstrom of emotion, sensory drama, trauma, and
logic is not anywhere at the top of how we make decisions. So, understand that logic is not driving you away from Islam; something else
is. Figure out
what that is.
If I handed you a crystal clear glass of drinking water, would you be able to tell that I'd added salt? Unless you'd tasted the water, I imagine not. Why though can't you see this naked truth with your eye? Is it because you're mentally deficient or is it because you have not the right tools? That is an analogy to the spiritual world, which we cannot see as yet with our naked eye because we have not the right tools despite us as human beings not being mentally deficient.
You have asked what is the proof of the Qur'an being of divine origin. I provided you two videos to watch, and I do hope you exert yourself and watch them, for even non-Muslims who've watched the videos have found them instructional, inspiring, and profound.
InshaAllah you will too, but you need to make efforts. To learn, you'll
always be required to pay a cost: That cost accrues in time, energy, and willingness to struggle. Are you willing to struggle? And if so, to what extent?
Remember one truth: Sincerity counts no costs. And insincerity counts no victories.
