Assalam Alaikum

Long story short, I've finished Ramadan and the 3 days I missed during. I am on day 3 of the 6 days of Shawwal. Since I started to fast, I've lost a lot of weight... I was 150lbs and now 130lbs (I'm 5'7-5'8) and I have a history of eating disorders in my past. Relapsing worries me and I pray daily to be strong and stay healthy. Not eating is quite normal to me and time of Ramadan is triggering in so many "wrong" ways. Seeking for advice from especially you sister if you have experienced the same.

Thank you.

Wa alaykumussalaam

It's very late reply, I didn't even see this thread before. I hope by now your problem is solved inshaAllah.
I can totally relate. One of many health problems I had in the past was eating disorder.
I fasted my first Ramadan with so much difficulty, not due to lack of food (like you, I was accustomed to not eating)
but thirst due to many hours of no liquid whatsoever, and also my first Ramadhan.
Second Ramadhan and subsequent are easier, I found out how to calculate nutrition intake and came up with a meal plan. It may help you to do this as well inshaAllah
The fear of relapse, though, is a much harder problem than lack of nutrition.
My first and second Ramadhan, I didn't know what to do, other than salah, duas. Then I found out how to do self ruqya and decided to do it.
I had no expectation, I just wanted to try, because I had tried many things and nothing worked, also we are rewarded reciting from the Qur'an, so why not try it?
Alhamdulilah through self ruqya, Allah has removed the afflictions that caused my suffering for almost 20 years (and the whole time I thought it was all medically, psychologically related!)
and the fear of relapse is gone as well.
I don't know if your eating disorder and fear are results of afflictions, but Allah is not malicious so the Qur'an doesn't contain any malice in it,
why not try self ruqya, it will be helpful inshaAllah Even if you don't have this problem anymore, Allah is Most Knowing
