Like my mom is almost 50, she always stress about the way I look and I’m like mom this is 21st century. My mom stresses about the way she looks also. She tries to look young as possible. I know this is Arab thing but why is my beauty so important to my mom? I get really frustrated sometimes.

Asalaamualaykum

It is part of a womans femininity that she looks even more beautiful than she is.

If you remove the basic attributes that contributes to femininity - A Woman will eventually become like a man.
