a story written by atheists
conversation between a girl and his dad who is a farmer.

girl: dad, what's hajj?
farmer : you have to go Mecca and tawaf around ka'ba.
girl : why would I do that?
farmer : this will erase your sins.
girl: then why are not we going Mecca for hajj?
farmer : we don't have money.
girl: then, who will perform hajj?
farmer : only rich people.
girl : so, only rich people have opportunity to erase their sins? what's our fault? why our sins are not forgiven?

the farmer didn't reply.

TEll him that there is a lot of ways of poor people to get forgived without going to hajj but if the rich have enough mony to go to hajj and don't go he will be a person who let an obligation in islam
So if the poor person say o allah forgive my sins and did the rules of tawbah than allah will forgive him the same as the rich ones.. but if the rich have money and don't go to hajj he will do a sin and have to ask forgiveness for ..

I made hajj back in 2001. I can assure you that not all the Muslims were rich and I seen the poor come in from all parts of the world. This story is stupid and how would the atheists know that only rich people make hajj without eye witness experience? It's mind over matter. Pay it no mind, because they don't matter.

Hajj is not to just erase our sins .. but its to teach us a lot of things
The Oneness of allah .. humble and it can teach the reach people that in the eyes of allah you are all the same ... wear the same clothes say the same words and worship allah together
And also there are some poor ones they go to hajj because of some rich ones they help them to go there so its not just for the rich but they learn to be together and the same

Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
Allah had once forgiven a prostitute. She passed by a dog panting near a well. Seeing that thirst had nearly killed him, she took off her shoe, tied it to her scarf, and drew up some water. Allah forgave her for that.

A simple act, no money needed. Just one of countless examples of the mercy of Allah. Tell this atheist to not try so hard next time.

Abu Huraira reported:

The poor amongst the emigrants came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: The possessors of great wealth have obtained the highest ranks and the lasting bliss. He (the Holy Prophet) said: How is that? They said: They pray as we pray, and they observe fast as we observe fast, and they give charity but we do not give charity, and they set slaves free but we do not set slaves free. Upon this the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Shall I not teach you something by which you will catch upon those who have preceded you, and get ahead of those who come after you, only those who do as you do being more excellent than you? They said: Yes, Messenger of Allah. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Extol Allah, declare His Greatness, and Praise Him thirty-three times after every prayer. Abu Salih said: The poor amongst the emigrants returned to the Messenger of Allah (may peace upon him) saying: Our brethren, the possessors, of property have heard what we have done and they did the same. So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: This is Allah's Grace which He gives to whom He wishes. Sumayy reported: I made a mention of this hadith to some members of my family (and one of them) said: You have forgotten; he (the Holy Prophet) had said (like this): "Extol Allah thirty-three time, praise Allah thirty-three times and declare His Greatness thirty-three times." Ibn `Ajlan said: I made a mention of this hadith to Raja' b. Haiwa and he narrated to me a hadith like this from Abu Salih from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on the authority of Abu Huraira.

Narrated Usama:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I stood at the gate of Paradise and saw that the majority of the people who had entered it were poor people, while the rich were forbidden (to enter along with the poor, because they were waiting the reckoning of their accounts), but the people of the Fire had been ordered to be driven to the Fire. And I stood at the gate of the Fire and found that the majority of the people entering it were women."

Hajj is just ONE of many ways Allah forgives us of our sins. Those who have more also have more to give account for.

Prophet (saw) said, "I stood by the gate of Paradise and saw that the majority of those who entered were the poor and wretched. The rich [Muslims] were detained while the people of Hell were ordered to be taken to Hell". (Sahih al-Bukhaari, Kitaab ar-Riqaaq, BAab Sifaat al-Jannah, wan-Naar, Fath al-Baari, 2/345)

Allah swt makes it easy for poor if he squirms for haj, and rich remains counting his wealth
