Asalamualykum dear brothers and sisters,
I hope you are all well and keeping safe and warm.
I have been blessed by Allah swt The Most Merciful as me and my family will be visiting the house of Allah swt. We will be going for Umrah insha Allah.
Insha Allah next year we hope to fulfil our faraz pilgrimage of Hajj.
Don't worry i will make dua for all of you insha Allah. May Allah swt make our flight easy Ameen.
Any advice or tips would be most welcome.
May Allah swt call every believer to his house subhana Allah.

Travel light. When you make Hajj, make sure your package starts with Hajj first then Medina second, in case you get sick. You want your strength for this to get it right.

Since you are going for Umrah first, I would advise to learn as much as you can. you do not have Farz stuff here, only sunnah. do your ibaadah, but also do not forget to visit as many places as possible. try to learn about those places ahead so that you know what you are visiting. once you have visited those places that and you come back home and read about our Prophets life...occacionally memories of those places will pop up in your head if you are reading something about it.
you will understand everything better and it is very fun to read stuff about Islam and having those memories. you will get strongly bonded with your religion.
