Assalamu Alaikum

Has anyone done this?? It's a neat idea for those who like to write their thoughts out.

Steps to Reflect on the Quran

  • Read the ayah or passage in Arabic, then read the translation: To get a basic meaning of what’s being said in the ayah or section.
  • Read the Tafseer (scholarly commentary) – there are several English works of Tafseer available online through apps or physical books.**
  • Take notes on the parts that resonated with you
  • Come up with action points or practical steps to apply this knowledge or connect it to your reality.

Wa alaikumas salam.
This is a beautiful concept. This way we could practically implement the teachings of quran.
Making and maintaining the journal may be a time taking task ,but its truly worth it.

It will be nice if you telll more ideas on how to jot down notes/action points from the ayah and tafseer

You could, for example, write down how an ayah makes you feel, how it resonates with your life, and the significance it holds within the surah or quran in general.
