UK Muslims, I need your help!

Hi!

I'm a final year student at the University of Aberdeen doing my undergraduate dissertation relating to Shari'a. My research is focused on how young Muslims feel about different aspects of the Shari'a, and what role the Shari'a should have in the United Kingdom, and how it relates to their Muslim/British identity.

The only requirements are:

• 18-30 years of age
• Identify as Muslim
• Currently living in the UK

Hi!

Thank you for taking part, I really appreciate it. Yes, that 'Britishness' question is one that gave me a headache as well. Ultimately me together with my supervisor decided together to leave it vague on purpose, to be decided by taking part. Like you said, there is a big problem defining the term, although it is a word that is thrown around a lot. I guess the concept of 'Britishness' is something that cant be simply put into words, but is rather almost like a feeling? It is definitely an issue in my research and it will be interesting to see everyone's responses!

I hope that after I graduate I will miss writing essays too, because right now I'm dreading it haha!
