Assalaamalaikam,

I want to ask here why can`t we make a law where it gives only one or two opportunities for a person to do Hajj
and few times in 5 years to do umrah.
Because i have seen many rich people they do Hajj and umraah every year again and again where as their poor relatives and friends do not even get
one opportunity to do one hajj or one time umraah in their whole life where as their closed rich relatives do not even care about them.
They only care for themselves and do hajj and umraah continuously.
Poor people also must get this opportunity funds and donations must be encouraged to grant an opportunity for poor people to do hajj and umrah once in their life.

I am one of those who does not have the ability to make Hajj by myself. Hopefully I will eventually be able to, but for now, I can barely afford to feed my children. So I understand where you are coming from. What I do not understand is how preventing rich people from doing Hajj every year would help me to do Hajj??

Beside that, it is required for us to make 1 Hajj in our life. But I do not think there is any kind of law or limit that was ever set on the number of Hajj. We can't just make up laws like that, specially not about something so important.

Walaikumasalaam

I understand your logic but this world is not based on justice and fairness. It is hard to digest but the more you get hit (not physically lol emotionally) the easier this is to digest (This is true in my case). Do you think Saudi government are interested in restricting their income? They will collect even if it means war i.e. Yemen. May Allah swt protect them Ameen.

Have hope in Allah swt. Allah swt is Just and Fair. Everything will be measured including intentions. Money does not buy you jannah but hard work does insha Allah.

:salam:

In Islam, there is no injustice on anyone. Hajj is only obligatory on those who can afford the journey. If you cannot afford, then there is no blame and no sin on you. It is not recommended to perform Hajj with loan or with donation from anyone. Allah :swt: does not burden anyone beyond their capabilities.

If you are sincere in your intention that once you have the necessary means, you will perform Hajj, then you will be rewarded for it even if you couldn't perform it during your whole life. A Muslim gets rewarded even for his intention.

I agree with your sentiments, I think its important not to neglect those who are too poor to afford the pilgrimage. We have to support one another, either through charity or by other means.

Your post reminds me of this.
