Salam.

My story is quite long, however, I will make it short. I was dealing with anxiety and depression months ago, in which I was mentally unstable. I was weak and the shaytan took advantage of my weakness. I kept getting was was saying I wasn’t a believer and I didn’t believe in Allah and the prophets. I didn’t protect myself and was weak and allowed it to take over. The shaytan has now taken over my soul and nafs and it has made me feel as if there is no return. I have no way out. And I need to know if this has happened to anyone else. Please comment or get in contact with me.

Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

Shatan is a powerful force. Everyone can have a time of weakness. But the simple fact that you are here and that you are worried about your actions means you are on the right track. Repent and once again welcome Allah in your heart and you will be forgiven.

Being worried for your iman confirms that you should not worry for your iman.
However, be punctual to prayer and other good deeds, keep in touch with pious people and try to refrain from sinning
