the sun rising from the west could very well be the sun rising on the Americas.

in the time of the prophet pbuh, the Americas were not discovered by those on Eurasia and Africa. When the sun sets on the coast of Morocco, it's rising on the east coast of the Americas. This is known to us since Columbus found the Americas.

Just a theory, which fits.

Eschatology, is a highly subjective study though. It only becomes objective once it is unanimously agreed by scholars that certain prophecies have come to pass... the rest is just speculation.

Didn't check the links bro.

Historically, the old maps had North and South the opposite ways, however East and West wasn't changed... and hasn't changed. Check the tabulus rogeriana (Muhammad Sherif Al Idrisi's world map - the first of its' kind) and others.
