Dua- Rabbi Inni Zalamtu Nafsi

My Lord! Indeed I have wronged myself, so forgive me."

Dua- Rabbi Inni Zalamtu Nafsi

Musa AS made this dua when he entered the city at a time when the people were heedless.There he saw two men fighting, the one of his own people, the other of his enemies. The one belonging to his own people asked his help against the one belonging to the enemy. Moses gave him a blow and killed him. (On seeing what had happened) Musa AS said, "This is the work of Satan: he is a deadly enemy and an open misleader."Then he said,"O my Lord, I have sinned against myself, so forgive me. " So, Allah forgave him: He is the All-Forgiving, the All-Merciful

"رَبِّ اِنِّىۡ ظَلَمۡتُ نَفۡسِىۡ فَاغۡفِرۡ لِ "
Rabbi Innee Zalamtu Nafsee Faghfirli
"My Lord! Verily, I have wronged myself, so forgive me"
" فَغَفَرَ لَهٗ​ؕ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ الۡغَفُوۡرُ الرَّحِيۡمُ‏ "
"Then He forgave him. Verily, He is the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
