Salaams everyone

The Quran is the last revelation sent to humankind to guide us to the righteous path. It has been revealed to us through Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) from angel Jibreel (alaihi wasallam) over a period of 23 years. The Quran is a miracle in respect to its verses which were given to Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). It is the direct word of Allah for the spiritual guidance of humankind to the fold of Islam.

Our Prophet (PBUH) emphasized the importance of the Quran in his last sermon at Arafah by stating to hold on to the Quran and his Sunnah for guidance – Sahih Muslim 2408.

Therefore, the Quran should be an essential component in our day to day life. This being said, we also should make sure we follow certain etiquettes while reading and practising the Quran. Here are some ways to revere it while reading.
