Assalaamu alaikum warahmatullah dear brothers and sisters.

I wanted to share a really interesting video here with you all, about the Muslim contribution to WW1. A topic we often feel is not connected to us because the World War was apparently fought among the non believers only. Well... you should check this out.

Do you know how many Muslims fought in the First World War?
Who they were fighting for?
Why they were there?
How they died?
Their acts of valour and their sacrifices?

Luc Ferier, explains the importance of the Muslim contribution to modern-day Europe. “Muslims are portrayed as the enemy within, that they are recent arrivals who have never made a valuable contribution to Europe. But we can show that they have sacrificed their lives for a free Europe, have helped to make it what it is and that they have a right to be here,”
