For example even pornography is a bad thing and you know it's pretty much the zina of eyes, but no one will say that someone who has committed the zina of eyes to be stoned to death, right? That's just unjust, since all he did was a major sin, yes, but he didn't commit adultery. There is a difference is what I meant. So exactly how harsh are those?
Right, but this is the type of knowledge which brings you no benefit to know anyway. If you know that something is haram, and you know about Allah's punishment, based on your intentions and who you are as a person, Allah will punish accordingly. It is different for each person. You might think that if you are watching pornography that it is just simply watching, but you don't realize that by watching it, you are supporting the system that creates it, which ruins people's lives and removes virtuousness from society, and you are corrupting your own mind and desensitizing yourself to seek bigger pleasures, by ruining your own soul and possibly your future because it can cause addiction.
So indulging in something once and repenting forever is different then indulging in something continuously until it becomes an addiction. Indulging in something with awareness is different than indulging in it with ignorance. Allah is just and knows your truest intentions. The punishments will vary.
