Here comes a story from a real life:
There was a person who never cared about titles, heroism, TV, big salaries, this world's rewards. This person was very humble and pious and only cared about Allah's satisfaction and only His opinion. At the same time, this person was some kind of a genius in sense of his work. Everyone loved him and he would deserve in Dunya's sense to be one of the most popular and richest persons in the world. But he didn't care about that. Always avoided media and other exposures. One day, something happened and this person lost many positions due to global situation (COVID). In the end, instead of giving workshops, teaching people how to work, giving talks at conferences, publishing books, he was forced to do administration work only, which is a job for much lower degree and experience. He was annoyed for quite some time and things were going worse and worse. Some other people who had no knowledge and experience like him had better jobs and positions. Finally he remembered one important moment in the history of all Allah's creations - Iblis... This test from Allah was very hidden and only those with knowledge would come to understand.
How many times this happened to us?
Remember that Iblis was the best jinn of his time. There's no place in the Earth where he didn't make sujood to Allah. He was elevated to Jannah and lived among angels. But, then Allah created Adam from dirt and we all know what happened.
Person from the story thought: I'm never going to be arrogant, but then Allah's test arrived.
