Pharoah was willing to repent, whilst in the midst of no escape from his death (being drowned in the sea).

He was so prideful that he disregarded all the signs that appeared to him -including the staff turning into a snake. Here, Allah didn't need to show him another sign for him to take seriously-does he think he is that important, that Allah needs to show him more for him to heed?? Rather that Allah, has taught us about pride -no matter what they have, they are ungrateful and think themselves better.

Just as Iblis was prideful -regardless of what he saw in the Heavens -his own self was more important. He has been alive this long (regardless of how many humans and devils have passed away)- but still wishes to hold onto his pride.

There are those that are Jealous, they are led by their emotions- they say they are willing to allow other people to die, just so they can find relief from their own jealousy. They wish to see other people lose, so again they can find relief from their own jealousy-they say their jealousy is so important, that other people should suffer and die because of it. Even children etc. They cannot stand their own jealousy themselves, and allow themselves to be led. Pride they turn to their emotion of arrogance and being better and claim it as a part of their identity. But just like jealousy, even though the feel they are better-well they wish to be, they still wish to attack anyone - which in effect proves that they know they are not better, if they were, they certainly wouldn't be making their lives out of someone they think are worse position then them.

Iblis had plenty of time to to repent to Allah -he was already prideful before Prophet Adam peace be upon him woke up.

Do what Iblis didn't do-pray to Allah to overcome your shortcomings. Do not wait till you feel right, before doing the right thing-treat people kindly even if you are jealous or prideful of them, go against this behaviour and don't let it run you.
