*** Beauty of our beloved Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم over the rest of creation ***

Bismillaah:

Al Bara bin Aazib رضي اللّه عن said:

The Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم was of moderate height having broad shoulders (long) hair reaching his ear-lobes. Once I saw him in a red cloak and I had never seen a more handsome person than him."

Takhreej:

{ Imam Al Bukhari in his Saheeh #751}

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

" “When I met Yusuf عليه السلام, I saw that Allaah عزوجل has blessed him with half of the beauty of the whole world, while the other half has been spread over the rest of it” "

Takhreej:

{ Imam Muslim in his Saheeh and Ahmad in his Musnad and graded as Saheeh by Al Hafiz ibn Katheer رحمهم الله }

Imam Abdur Raoof al Munaawi رحمه الله commented :

Ibn al Munayyir opined that it does not mean half of the beauty in the world, rather, half of the beauty that the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم was given, as he صلى الله عليه وسلم reached the limit, while Yusuf only reached half of that.
